International Sherry Week is the largest annual festival of Sherry Wines in the world.
Every year since 2014, the vibrant worldwide community of Sherry-lovers comes together for a week of events such as tastings and pairing dinners, in bars, restaurants and wine shops from Australia to the United Kingdom, via Spain. With a style of sherry to match every type of food, it’s an ideal opportunity to discover the full range of Sherries and their fascinating ageing process in the Solera and Criaderas.

In the UK, Spain, the US, Brazil, Japan, and Australia, Sherry-lovers can follow specially designed routes around cities which take in a number of bars, restaurants and wine stores. They can check out the events and venues from the online listing, decide which ones they fancy, book if necessary, and simply glide from one fabulous Sherry pairing menu or tasting, to the next, experiencing the gamut of superbly versatile Sherry wines and perfectly matched gastronomy.
The cities offering Sherry Routes are Madrid, Barcelona, Seville and Jerez; London, Manchester, Cardiff and Edinburgh; Washington DC, New York and San Francisco, Sao Paolo; Tokyo and Sydney. More cities will be added, so watch out on our Events page, select from the Menu above.
How to become part of a Sherry Route
Want to join a route? It’s easy. If your city already has a route, upload your event, and we’ll simply add you to that city’s route.
If your city does not currently have its own route, just find 10 other venues to participate during Sherry Week, and we’ll create a filter for your city on our Events page’s Sherry Routes search facility. Then you’ll have your own dedicated Sherry Route! Email us at events@sherryweek.wine
