Road to Copa Jerez 2017

Chef/sommelier teams devise a three-course meal created specially to complement and showcase Sherry wines' versatility, using Sherry as an ingredient in at least one course.

All proposals received will be evaluated by a professional jury, charged with selecting the 8 finalists based on:

  • Originality and creativity of the menu
  • The culinary expertise of the recipes
  • The justification of the selected Sherry Wines

Eight teams will be selected for the UK's National Final to take part in a high profile cook-off in the Competition Theatre at The Restaurant Show in London on Monday 3 October 2016, in front of a leading panel of judges and an audience.

The winning team will represent the United Kingdom against finalists from seven other countries in the International Final of the Copa Jerez VII, held in the capital of Sherry Wines, Jerez de la Frontera Spain.
