With the best three promotions winning a trip to Jerez, the participating merchants go all-out to increase purchases of Sherry with their customers.
Taking place from Monday 5 June, through to Sunday 18 June, merchants who want to take part should register online as soon as possible - www.sherry.wine/sherry-festival/registration - as only the first 60 will receive a FREE POS pack.
In addition to receiving free POS, merchants will also be supported across digital marketing platforms to reach a wider audience for their events and activities. Sherry Wines UK has won awards in recent years for its success with its social media campaigns and website www.sherry.wine, and alongside International Sherry Week (7-13 Nov, 2017) is building a wide network of #Sherrylovers.
Commenting on the Sherry Festival, UK campaign director, Angeline Bayly, says: “Each year the festival goes from strength to strength and it’s great to welcome new merchants taking part - from Scotland to Cornwall.”
Bayly continued: “But what really excites us is the uptake in sales that merchants have during the promotion. What better reason for taking part?”
Merchants have until the 22 May to sign and be included in the campaign.
Recent winners of the Sherry Festival include: Luvians (St Andrew); Highbury Vintners (London), Harrogate Fine Wine (Yorks); Borough Wines (London), Drinkmonger (Edinburgh); and Bar 44 (Cardiff).
