Both branches of La Casa Dalry, a family owned, Mediterranean restaurant, offer a range of sherries alongside their tapas and mezze style plates, while Tapas3 can offer all of the above, plus flamenco dance classes.

Like close(ish) neighbour Bristol, Cardiff is carving out a reputation for local gems and smart cooking. Spain is also well represented, such as at Bar 44, who offer a sherry flight for first timers (or aficionados) and Fino Friday, where they (rightly) match Fino with fried fish at two locations.

There’s a similar love of Fino at Curado Bar, a restaurant so delightfully Spanish, they have a certificate – from Restaurants of Spain – to mark their authenticity. Here you can expect one of the knowledgeable teams to suggest cold Delgado Zuleta Fino as the perfect match to their meat and cheese sharing boards…

Grupo 44 are the same people behind the aforementioned Bar 44s and also offer a Spanish-influenced hotel (Parador 44) and a mail order food and wine business, Mercado 44.
