Spanish Wines: A Trip to El Marco with Scott Wasley
Until recently, Marco de Jerez was known simply as ‘the Sherry Triangle’ – a region around the Andalucian town of Jerez. But there’s a lot more than ‘Sherry’, so-called, going on in this beautiful region. Chalk soils that will make you think of Chablis and Champagne, and wines as beautiful as those, but at a fraction of the price are what we’ll show here. Palomino is the great white grape here, and we’ll taste it unaged, aged, fortified and also as Vermut. One of them will be a wine made by Scott himself! Join us for this rare Sydney masterclass hosted by one of Australia's most influential Spanish wines importers.
