I studied Gastronomy and specialised in wines and spirits in London, with the WSET. I was one of the very first Latin American residents to obtain the Diploma in Wines and Spirits by the institution.
Originally from Belo Horizonte, I moved to São Paulo in 2007 to manage the wine portfolio of Zahil Importadora.
I've also been teaching WSET courses occasionally with The Wine School Brasil-Chile-Colombia.
I became serious about Sherry after a huge tasting of Equipo Navazos "La Bota" wines. I've been organising tastings and courses in Brazil since.
I have been a student at the Institute of Masters of Wine since late 2012 and I became a "Formador Homologado del Vino de Jerez" in 2013.
