Casa Mono & Bar Jamón

exterior_casa_mono.jpg

Casa Mono and its sister restaurant, Bar Jamón, are located next to each other on Irving Place and 17th Street, just east of Union Square. Awarded two stars from The New York Times shortly after its opening and a Michelin Star in 2009 (and every year since), Casa Mono is a tapas bar-restaurant inspired by the cooking of Spain’s Costa Brava. Both locations boast a 500 label wine list with over 70 sherries.

Sherry Wine Pairing

A classic pairing going back to the restaurant's inception is the Foie Gras con Cinco Cebollas paired with Valdespino Calle Ponce Palo Cortado or a splurge of the Sweetbreads with Marcona Almond Vinaigrette with a bottle of Osborne 51-1a VORS Amontillado.
