Sherry week / Turquía / Istanbul
An evening dedicated to sherry in all its forms. We will follow the wine from the albariza vineyards of the Sherry Triangle through the bodega, exploring how biological ageing under flor and oxidative ageing in the solera shape two very different families of wine. Then we taste our way across the whole spectrum: Fino, Manzanilla, Amontillado, Palo Cortado, Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez, six sherries poured side by side, comparing production, texture and flavour, and learning what to look for in each glass. Presented by Gökhan Gökalan, whisky educator and Certified Sherry Educator (Consejo Regulador Jerez-Xérès-Sherry), founder of HepsiViski, Turkey's whisky education platform. Language: Turkish.
