Sherry’s story stretches back thousands of years, shaped by different cultures, changing tastes, pioneering producers and an extraordinary evolution in winemaking.

To celebrate Sherry Week, join Lauren Denyer DipWSET, Certified Sherry Educator and González Byass Sherry Master, in this tasting exploring the long history of the Spanish fortified wine. Each glass will represent a chapter in the story, from the ancient origins of viticulture around Jerez and the influence of the Moors, through the rise of international trade and sherry’s golden age, to the development of the solera system and the styles that came to define the region. The event will also explore what the present and future holds for this fascinating region. Guests will enjoy Spanish cheeses and snacks from Brindisa alongside the wines.
