Founded by one of the most influential chefs in history, Auguste Escoffier, the Ritz London* holds one Michelin Star and stands as a magnificent bastion of classic gastronomic culture. For many, it has the most beautiful dining room in the world with its colossal marble columns and immense windows which stretch to the ceiling which is adorned with enormous kaleidoscopic frescoes.

Michael Nizzero

Michael Nizzero is a young chef from Belgium where he trained at the Catering School of Brussels. Before joining the Ritz London* in 2015 he gained experience in Michelin starred restaurants such as Pisces in Dubai and the Waterside Inn at Bray with Michel and Alain Roux. Before that Michael worked for two years at the London restaurant One-o-One under the supervision of chef Pascal Proyart. He has also worked at Hostellerie la Briqueterie in Epernay where he earned his first Michelin Star as executive chef.


Giovanni Ferlito

Giovanni Ferlito has inherited his true passion for the greatest cuisine and the finest wines from his Franco-Italian background. He began his career in Italy in 2004 as a bartender, but felt such devotion to wine that he decided to become a sommelier. He later moved to London where he became a member of the team at some of the most acclaimed Michelin starred restaurants in the city such as Locanda Locatelli and Hélène Darraz. He joined the Ritz London* as sommelier in 2014.
