Alessandra Cavallaro

Alessandra is an experienced wine educator and DipWSET-certified professional with over 10 years in the international wine industry. Her work spans wine education, production, and sales, with professional experience in Italy, the UK, and Australia. Specialising in education, she has taught in both English and Italian at AccademiaVino, which was awarded Educator of the Year – Europe in 2019. Her teaching is grounded in strong theoretical knowledge, backed by hands-on experience in vineyards, wineries, and wine distribution. Since relocating to the Canary Islands, she has also expanded into wine tourism, working closely with producers and visitors to deepen the connection between wine and place. As an educator and communicator, she is passionate about making wine more accessible and engaging, whether in the classroom, the cellar, or the tasting room.
