MD, PhD. ASI diploma. WSET 3. During a course at the best wine school in Russia - “Enotria” (Moscow) I fell in love with sherry. I had gone to Andalusia that same year, and was completely captivated by the beauty, history, traditions and culture of the region! Having gained knowledge from that course at the Consejo Regulador in 2013 and becoming a Formador Homologado del vino de Jerez, I wanted as many people as possible would learn about these magical wines and wonderful places of Andalusia, discover it for themselves, just as I’ve once done. That's how the "Sherry Tours" project was born, of which I am a co-owner. I lived for a while in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, often had been visiting wineries and interacting with many sherry producers from the so-called “sherry triangle”. Later, the knowledge and experience I’ve gained in marketing at the Higher School of Economics (Moscow) helped me open the Kazakhstan market to sherry producers such as Bodegas Gonzalez-Byass, Bodegas Barbadillo and many other producers of Spain. I also conducted and continue themed sherry tastings in Kazakhstan (Almaty, Astana, Karaganda) and Russia (Moscow), regularly participate in professional tastings and visit wineries.
