Flok, Manchester

FLOK is Manchester's first dedicated Sherry bar in the trendy Northern Quarter, offering the full range of sherry styles by the glass as well as by the bottle, alongside a variety of sherry cocktails. You can enjoy a selection of tapas style dishes, meat and cheeses and in the evening a daily changing variety of Pinxtos.

Ambiente Tapas, Leeds, York & Hull

Tapas with a Yorkshire twist is what you’ll find when you embark upon a culinary journey at Ambiente Tapas. Food is cooked freshly every day in theatre style kitchens, with menus featuring both authentic Spanish and fusion dishes. The drinks list certainly won’t let you down, featuring over 60 sherries and wines by the glass, unique sherry cocktails and various craft beers.

El Gato Negro, Manchester

El Gato Negro is an award-winning tapas restaurant and bar in a beautifully-converted historic three storey building on King Street in the heart of city centre Manchester. Step in off the street to sample sherry, charcuterie and cheeses on the ground floor. Dine in their first floor restaurant, sitting at the chef’s table. Or kick back and enjoy some exclusive cocktails in the intimate surrounding of the top floor cocktail lounge.

Paco Tapas, Bristol

Paco Tapas, part of the michelin-starred Sanchez Brothers group that also owns Bristol institution Casamia. Named in honour of their father and set up by brothers Jonny (who sadly passed away in 2016) and Peter, Paco Tapas also celebrates Sherry, with a great by-the-glass list. Paco Tapas is leading the way in helping Bristol once again secure its status as Sherry's spiritual home in the UK.

Bar Pepito, Kings Cross, London

Bar Pepito is a small but perfectly formed Sherry bar across the courtyard from Camino in King’s Cross. It’s an intimate Andalusian bodega specializing in the most exciting styles of sherry and authentic tapas, and mixes the best traditions from Jerez with a refreshing up to date approach. Try their Sherry Road trip, which stears you through six styles of sherry, each paired with matching tapas

Drakes Tabanco, Fitzrovia, London

Drakes Tabanco takes its inspiration from the great tapas restaurants and sherry taverns (Tabancos) of Andaluciabut replaces many of the usual tapas favourites with an interesting and imaginative array of original dishes. Extraordinary sherries are served from ancient oak barrels - wines that have reached greatness through careful nurturing over several decades in the quiet of Jerez's prodigious cellars.

Sack, Shoreditch, London

Sack bar is located on the edge of the City of London and close to the heart of trendy Shoreditch. The team at Sack have immersed themselves in the word of Sherry and are equally adept at helping those with a little or a lot of knowledge. The list is ‘work in progress’ so repeat visits recommended. They’ve got lots of interesting Sherry paraphernalia too, including a small cask and venencia as well as guides to Sherry cocktails and what flavours to expect from different styles of Sherry.

Goya 23, Edinburgh

Goya 23 is a Wine & Sherry bar in the prestigious area of Stockbridge in Edinburgh. Bringing the best of Spain to Scotland: Ibérico cured meats, fine wines, cava, sherry from the barrel, craft beers and many other delicacies. Everything served in the bar is also available to take home from their gourmet shop. Enjoy a little corner of Spain in the heart of Edinburgh.

Bar 44, Cardiff, Cowbridge and Penarth

With four sites in and around Cardiff, including their most recent opening Asador 44, Bar 44 is a superstar of the sherry scene.  Overseen by a qualified Sherry Educator, the sherry list is extensive and exceptional. In Cardiff they have the added bonus of 3 seasoned sherry casks from Jerez, from which amontillado, palo cortado and oloroso are served from the cask, a wonderful centrepiece of the bar.
