31 October 2022

The 9th Sherry Week will see hundreds of events in 17 countries

NP Sherry Week - 31 Oct

From 7 to 13 November, Sherry-lovers around the world will be sniffing, sipping, pouring and pairing their favourite fortified wines from southern Spain in the biggest annual celebration of Sherry Wine. Aficionados will be treated to Sherry Wine tasting menus, creative cocktails, masterclasses, and sherry flights, discovering new and unexpected flavour combinations from these incomparably versatile wines, from dry, crisp fino to nutty amontillado and complex, aromatic palo cortado. As always, Sherry Week takes place under the auspices of the D.O. of Jerez-Xérès-Sherry and Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda.

This year, the countries with the most events registered so far are the United Kingdom, Spain, Japan, the USA, Brazil and Australia. But many more events will be taking place spontaneously, in these and other countries, and all events will be shared online using the #sherryweek hashtag – coming to a Social Media channel near you. Follow @sherrywinesjerez to make sure you don’t miss out on anything.
