Mark your calendars (and maybe chalk a barrel or two), because International Sherry Week returns 3–9 November for the world’s biggest celebration of all things Sherry Wines and Manzanilla.
Every year, the vibrant global Sherry community comes together for one week of gastronomical and cultural events that showcase the wine’s incredible diversity, from the dry crispness of Fino to the velvety sweetness of Cream.
Since the launch of Sherry Week in 2014, over 20,000 events have taken place worldwide under the stamp of approval from the Consejo Regulador for Jerez-Xérès-Sherry and Manzanilla. More than half a million wine lovers – from seasoned Sherry experts to curious first-timers – have explored Sherry’s rich heritage, distinctive solera system, and unique cocktail and pairing options. And more importantly… they’ve indulged in it.
Last year raised the bar with 3,048 registered events in 29 countries; swirling from the heartland of Jerez to the streets of London, Madrid, São Paulo, Tokyo, Buenos Aires, Auckland, Shanghai and hundreds more cities. The impact rippled across social media, capturing a new wave of Sherry lovers.
We also introduced a new icon: Sherry Girl, whose bold two-copa ‘Sherry Stance’ went viral – reimagined around the world and establishing a modern symbol for Sherry. This year’s official campaign artwork features an evolution of the now-famous pose… recreate it to join in!

This 12th edition will also see the evolution of the wildly popular Sherry Rutas – multi-venue routes offering exclusive pairing experiences. This isn’t a typical wine crawl. It’s a triumphant strut with tipples, tastings, and tapas.
