Sherry Week 10th Edition

The excitement is mounting, bar and restaurant staff are getting ready, and the bottles are being lined up – the 10th international Sherry Week is just around the corner.

From 6-12 November, Sherry-lovers from Argentina to Australia, Brazil to Japan, with Spain, the UK and USA as the usual big-hitters, will savour the distinctively delicious flavours of these wines from Southern Spain. Through tastings, pairings, cocktails and this year’s fabulous new Sherry Routes, aficionados of the nuanced range of wines from Jerez and the surrounding area will learn that there is always more to discover – whether matching artichokes with Amontillado, or making a Fino Negroni.

A total of 1596 daily events have been registered in 26 countries – but there’s still time to register yours! Simply go to the Sherry Week website and register.

For the 10th anniversary, Sherry-lovers can enjoy the new Sherry Routes, taking in a number of participating bars, wine stores and restaurants, in the following cities:

Europe: Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, and (of course) Jerez; London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, and Manchester.

North and South America: Toronto; New York, San Francisco, Washington DC, San Diego; Buenos Aires and São Paulo.
